Member profile:
Italian in Italy association is an expanding association of independent schools, privately owned, based on voluntary work of members all over Italy. Its members teach Italian language and culture to students from all over the world.
The association stands for quality in terms of teacher training, up to date didactic methodologies and complaints management.
Italian in Italy members offer a wide range of courses (designed for students, teachers, businessmen, seniors and teenagers, even tailor-made), accommodation and cultural activities, firmly convinced that the knowledge of a country does not only imply language competence, but a full immersion in its everyday life.

Italian in Italy started an ongoing, fruitful dialogue with the Authorities aimed at softening the visa procedures, and at creating a Register of accredited Italian language and culture schools.


Special features:
Italian in Italy is accredited as a teaching training centre by the Italian Ministry of Education to guarantee a professional excellence in language instruction. It regularly organizes seminars all year round by Italian Cultural Institutes, Universities, Institutions, Public and Private Schools all over the world.
All the schools belonging to the association are authorized examination centre for the CERTIFICATO DI ITALIANO TELC (The European Language Certificates), member of ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe).
Moreover, the association has a partnership with ENIT (Ente Nazionale Italiano per il Turismo).
Italian in Italy is member of ALTO (Association of Language Travel organization).
Italian in Italy is member of FIYTO (Federation of International Youth Travel Organization).
Every member of the association is inspected every three years, as a warranty of quality.
Complaints procedure: Italian in Italy will investigate any complaints made against a member school.
The Italian in Italy Code of Practice promotes high professional and ethical standards in the work of member schools.

Members are encouraged to cooperate, exchange information, share ideas and being supportive of each other, pursuing the common aim of spreading Italian culture.
