English New Zealand

English New Zealand is the peak body for the English language sector in New Zealand and represents a group of well-established, quality English language providers located throughout New Zealand.
All members are approved and accredited by NZQA and are signatories to the Code of Practice. In addition, member schools must meet the English New Zealand Standards.
Our schools vary in size and location, and include both private and state sector providers offering a range of English language programmes and pathways.
Each year English New Zealand co-ordinates agent workshops for members in a number of offshore countries. Our relationships with agents are very important and we want to ensure that students choosing New Zealand will have the best possible experience at an English New Zealand school.

English New Zealand Standards – all members must meet these rigorous quality assurance standards in addition to the government regulatory requirements of NZQA and the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students

Code of Conduct – the English New Zealand Code of Conduct promotes high professional and ethical standards in the work of member schools.

Complaints procedure – English New Zealand will investigate any complaints made against a member school.
